On Saturday, July 18th from 8AM-1PM we’ll be hosting a church-wide garage sale in the Gym/Cafeteria.

If you’d like to donate items to the sale, we’d like to collect most items the week of July 12-17 but we will begin collecting some items on Sunday, June 28th at a table in the concourse.  We will be accepting the following items in good condition: infant through teen clothes and shoes (not adult), baby equipment, toys, books, DVDs, CDs, electronics, kitchen & bath items, small appliance, linens and miscellaneous household items, etc.  We will also be accepting furniture and other larger items but would ask that you schedule a time to bring it so we can take it directly to storage.   If you’re able to wait until Thursday (7/16) or Friday (7/17) you can bring all donations directly to the church cafeteria and you’ll save us some work moving the donations from the shed into the cafeteria.

VOLUNTEERS:

This is a HUGE undertaking and to make it happen we need lots of help.  The following is a list of ways you can help.

STUDENTS:

Friday – We’re asking all students to come from 10AM-3PM to help us move donations from the shed and get them all organized.  We’ll provide a free pizza lunch and if we get done in time we’ll play a game or two at the end.

Saturday – We’ve divided the morning into two time slots, one for each Fuel Small group.  You are welcome to work longer but we’d especially like you to come during your group’s time slot.  If you aren’t in a Fuel Group, you’re welcome to come anytime.

7:45-10:30AM – DawnO & Cassie, DawnH, Bethany & Danielle, Melissa & Grace, Theo & Nate, David & Clinton, Latif & Josh

10:30AM-1:30PM – Justin, Tad & Bob, Kevin & William, Mary & Kelsey, Michelle & Karianna, Heather

ADULTS & FAMILIES:

Friday – We’re asking adults and families to sign up (email Melissa Simpson) and come help out sometime from 3-9PM.  If you’re free during the day, you are welcome to come during our student time (10AM-3PM) as well.  We’ll need lots of help so even if you can only for a while, please come on out and help us sort & price items.
